Bookshop window – Autumn 2015 – Winnie the Pooh

T’was a busy day yesterday, spent the whole day doing a new illustration for The Melton Bookshop’s window. Well, the whole day apart from the hour that the owner tried to set me up on Twitter, which failed spectacularly – technophobe that I am. Anyway, Autumn’s scene is from ‘Winnie the Pooh’ by A.A.Milne and shows the characters playing ‘poohsticks’ with National Book Tokens with the accompanying phrase:

‘Sometimes, if you stand on a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be know’.
